How do you disable Acobot without uninstalling it?

Acobot starts working with your store in the background as soon as you add the Acobot app to your store. However, it is hidden from your shoppers by default and will not interact with them until you instruct it to do so explicitly.

To disable Acobot for the time being, you need to:
  1. Log in to your Acobot account.
  2. (Optional) Choose the store you want to enable for if you have multiple stores.
  3. Disable the widget by clicking the toggle for it on the dashboard.
Acobot will hide its chat widget from your website and stop engaging your visitors right away. All of your stored data is kept and the widget can be republished at any time. This is the right way to pause Acobot. You do not have to uninstall the app or close the account unless you want to stop using Acobot permanently.

You can also enable/disable a specific feature using the corresponding toggle on the dashboard. We recommend you keep all features enabled for the best performance.
